On 22nd November 2017, the Prime Minister, the Hon Malcolm Turnbull MP, announced the appointment of an Expert Panel to examine whether Australian law adequately protects the human right to freedom of religion. 

The review panel, chaired by the Hon Philip Ruddock, has since finalised its review of Religious Freedom Protection in Australia and has delivered its report to the Prime Minister and Government. At the time of this event we were awaiting its public release.

The Centre for Christian Apologetics, Scholarship and Education was established as a ministry of New College in 2002 by Professor Trevor Cairney. CASE aims to provide Christian commentary on social, intellectual and academic issues, and engage people of all persuasions in debate and discussion concerning contemporary issues of broad interest. Many articles could be used across the humanities subjects in Secondary classes.

You’d be hard-pressed to find an Anglican or some other Christian school that did not include the Bible somewhere in its curriculum.
