Introduction to the Series
This series of occasional papers has been devised by Anglican EdComm to address the needs of Christian educators in Australia with the aim of contributing to the advancement of Christian education. These commissioned papers, each forming part of an ongoing series, will respond to various issues that emerge, particularly in the Australian educational scene. The papers will focus on issues related to the philosophy of Christian education, respond to current issues in education from a distinctly Christian perspective or provide insight into the practice of teaching and learning for Christian educators. It is hoped these papers will provide an opportunity for Christian educators to reflect and be challenged in their practice of Christian education.
